UPS Woes And Name Ideas

Well, our dossier package is finally showing up on UPS tracking. Apparently it has been LOST for SIX DAYS in Roanoke and they only found it last night!!! Oh my goodness, I just can't believe it. It's now on its way and we should be submitted next week (Thursday, May 5). Oh and we ARE getting a refund...again. UPS is certainly losing money (and business) on us!

As for names, we are kind of stuck and would like some more suggestions if you have any! "Zara" is still on the table, as well as her birthname. We also like the name "Lily" but we can't think of a good middle name to go with it. Any other ideas??!

Our oldest daughter is named Lilli and her middle name is Clare. :)

What about any family names you might want to use as a middle name? Or perhaps keeping her birthname or Zara as a middle name? I don't think they have to really go together perfectly, especially since middle names are used so infrequently. But Lily Zara sounds pretty to me - maybe her birth name would work in that way as well?

Glad it's showing up now on tracking! I hope the rest of the trip is uneventful : )

A couple of my children have 2 middle names : )

Faith or Joy goes nicely with Lily, I think. :)

Our daughters middle name is Lillian, my grandmothers middle name. Lily is a beautiful first name! We love passing on family names. All our boys have family middle names that is also a Bible name.

SO glad to hear they found your dossier! Praying you get submitted ASAP!

What about a name that would be longer for Lily, it may be easier to pair with a middle name
Liliana
Lila
Lilia
Lillian
Lillith
Liliane

I have always loved Ruby :)

If you like her birth name, I expect she would appreciate still having that as part of her name when she gets older.

I still vote for Sadie. I just see her with that name. And Sadie was originally a nickname for Sarah, which has the same meaning/roots as Zara. Or maybe you can name her Zara but let me call her Sadie as a nickname. :-) I also see Madelyn or Madeline when I look at her.

I love the name Lily, but I think it looks a lot prettier with two Ls, like Lilly. I also really like Lillian. Zara would go really well as a middle name with Lillian.

Praise God your dossier was found! I can only imagine how awful it felt for it to be lost, as we haven't even begun to compile ours.
