I was SO hoping and praying that today we would hear about our SDA appointment...but we didn't. If we don't hear tomorrow then...well, I don't know what to think! Maybe it won't be as early as we thought. PLEASE PRAY that we hear tomorrow!!
So while we wait, I've been trying to stay busy. Today I cleaned and organized the office, which has been a long time in coming. It felt good to finally get around to that. I completely neglected the house for about 6 months while I was finishing my PhD so there's a lot to dig through.
The curtains in the office and Lily's room are now purchased, washed, ironed, and hung. They look great! I am probably boring you with all these details :).
Ok, so I really DO have a question for y'all: can you recommend some good books for us to bring and read on the trip??? We both have kindles so space isn't an issue. Please leave your suggestion(s) in the comments section!

I would recommend a Faithful place by Tana French! Great book!
AND......The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein! Another awesome book!
God bless!
Heaven is for Real by Todd Burpo. It's a super fast and super fun read. I read it in 4 hrs straight because I couldn't put it down! It chronicles their son's illness and his visit with Jesus in heaven. What Colton later shares with his family will knock your socks off!
Carrie E.
oooh...Safely Home by Randy Alcorn, Crazy Love and Forgotten God by Francis Chan...I could go on & on about those 2!
I also loved The Art of Racing in the rain. I just finished Half Broke Horses by Jeannette Walls and really loved it. Also if you've never read Francine Rivers books, she is one of my all time fav authors.

Road Map to Holland by Jennifer Graf Groneberg, The boy from Baby House 10 by Alan Philps and John Lahutsky (just in case you need reminding why you are doing this!!)
Maybe "Heaven is For Real" - sorry don't have the author handy. It's by the parent of the little boy that made a trip to Heaven and came back again.
Hope you hear TOMORROW!!! I would love to meet you over there! :-)
I also loved The Art of Racing in the Rain!
Girl Meets God by Lauren Winner and Left to Tell by Immaculee Ilibagiza. Two recent reads that have moved very quickly to the top of my all time favorites!
The Help is a great easy fiction read too!
The Five Love Languages for Children :o)
