This afternoon Lily didn't nap, and the weather was beautiful so I took her to the park and pushed her on the swing for a looooong time. At one point while swinging, completely unprompted, she CLAPPED her hands TWICE!! I almost fell over! Of course I couldn't get her to do it again, but still that is the FIRST time she has done that! Then when we got home from the park I gave her a bottle, and naturally she fell asleep. She even STAYED asleep, and this is how she ended up when I put her in her pack and play:

Adorable do! When my daughter was little she had that same style. We called it her "palm tree". You are such a smart mama to walk that not-napping child to the swings! Is she down for the night or planning a late night party??? The mysteries of our babies. :)
Her hair looks just like Madeline's (and I always did Jenna's the same way)! She looks so, so cute with it up like that! I've found it's the best way to keep the hair out of their eyes. I use teeny tiny plastic rubber bands and they stay in pretty well (as long as they don't grab them!) Super cute!
